In support of current County, State, and Federal governmental and health agency recommendations, and in light of the CDC ruling limiting public gatherings of 10 or more people and that older people and those with underlying conditions were asked to stay home to support the worldwide efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Blues Bear Hawaii has postponed all events for now. We are rescheduling these events. We always feel the show must go on because music is the universal language that can heal the world. This decision is guided by our commitment to help ensure the health and safety of the entire community. We make this difficult announcement in coordination with our many partners in the visual and performing arts, from artists both local and global, our crew and volunteers.
Events Effected:
- March 17 Kilt Lifters at Gertrude’s Jazz Bar. The Band and the Irish Dancers are observing the CDC ruling
and we have rescheduled their event on June 16 for a Summer Solstice Celebration.
-
March 27 Celtica Nova at The Aloha Theatre. Aloha theatre cancelled all their events today.
We are working on rescheduling a new date.
- April 25 Tavana at Gig’s Place Maui
Mahalo for your patience and consideration as we work through these difficult times.
We hope to see everyone on the new dates. We pray that by then this will all be in our past. Stay Safe our island Family.
Blessings and much love.
